How Can I Solve A ';Paging File Error - ';Limited Virtual Memory';?

It is to be mentioned that i have already gone through the following steps for XP but it couldn`t helped me.

Startup tab==%26gt;Settings==%26gt;Control Panel==%26gt;System==%26gt;Advance(tab)==%26gt;Under the Performance Label click ';Setting'; tab ==%26gt;click Advance(tab)==%26gt;Under virtual Memory Label click ';change'; tab.

Second Method:

Right click ';My Computer';==%26gt;click Properties==%26gt; and the rest of the procedure is the same.

Since, i observed that upon restarting the PC the virtual memorey is again restored to the previous value(before restarting)., and is not saved/applied prmanently. Let me know how to come up this issue, or state any workaround for it.

you need to click the SET button after changing the valueHow Can I Solve A ';Paging File Error - ';Limited Virtual Memory';?
check this video on clearing the pagefile (virtual memory)don't worry it will still be there but cleared of old data

then you can leave the virtual memory set to ';system managed';

another thing is add more physical memory then you need less virtual memory
After you change the value, be sure to hit SET before you close the window or it won't save it. And you don't have to re-boot unless it asks you to.
