Virtual memory/paging file too low?

For the past couple of days, every time I've turned my computer on, an error message has come up saying my paging file was too small. I've manually set it to something bigger and restarted my computer but the message comes back up. When I go back to the screen to change the size, it says that the size is like 250 which is much lower than I've set it for. How do I make the change permanent?Virtual memory/paging file too low?
Try to check if the ram memory is ok or try to add more to your computer.
