i read somewhere else on yahoo answers that switching to system managed will help with virtual memory issues i followed each step by step and did all three oks and restarted it went to see if it saved and its right back at custom setting...what is the problem? why would it change back? are there any other ways to fix virutal memory without having to get more ram? how do i get more ram?Virtual memory low and switching to system managed vs custom?
It seems that system managed virtual memory is good in Vista. I believe that access time is faster. You make need to free up some more memory. Here is a good how to page:
